Perched on a hillside, this custom build in the suburbs of melbourne is a contemporary piece of Architecture that harmonizes with its sloping terrain and lush surroundings, offering mesmerizing views. The design juxtaposes a single-story structure with a double-story mass, creating an elegant and inviting entrance through gardens, leading to a luminous open lobby. The curvilinear wall at the entrance gently guides visitors into the lobby, which opens to stunning valley vistas. An internal garden, illuminated by an angular skylight extending over the kitchen, brings life to the lobby, casting dynamic shadows throughout the day.

The lobby serves as a transitional space, dividing this custom build house into two distinct areas: public and private. The polished concrete flooring of the lobby shifts to warm timber in the single-story section, which is designed for entertaining and daily living, complete with a state-of-the-art cinema. The double-story section is dedicated to family living, featuring bedrooms, a library, a prayer room, a gym, a second family lounge, and a serene terrace with panoramic valley views, perfect for watching sunsets.

An open-tread staircase with a full-height window floods the corridors and family living areas with natural light, creating captivating shadows. All bedrooms face the valley, optimizing the views while service areas are strategically placed at the rear of this custom build double storey structure. Utilizing the natural slope, car parking is conveniently located on the lower level of the house.
