ENCLAVE Architects is a Melbourne-based architecture and interior design firm with a presence in the Middle East (Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar) and Europe (Austria, Greece). With over 20 years of experience in residential and mixed-use developments, we believe in creating architecture that respects the cultural traditions and site conditions of each region. Madz and Mia's journey began in the early 2000s when they were architecture students at the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. Through countless late-night discussions and ambitious brainstorming sessions, they dreamed of one day starting their own architecture practice. After graduation, their paths diverged. Madz met Nora, a talented graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design in the USA.

Drawing on their combined experience from working at award-winning architecture firms in the UK, US, and the Middle East, Madz and Nora established an architecture firm in Kuwait in 2010 with few other partners. Meanwhile, Mia moved to Vienna, where she pursued her passion for the arts, launching a successful clothing and fabric line called "miapapa" while continuing her work in architecture.

When Madz relocated to Melbourne in 2017, all three seized the opportunity to collaborate once more, founding Enclave Architects, a firm focused on high-end residential architecture. Their diverse experiences and global perspectives allowed them to bring unique value to Melbourne's architectural scene, renowned for its cultural diversity.
