ONE MILLION SMILES

Alnowair, the GCC's first nonprofit initiative focused on spreading positivity, was set to establish its new office. The design brief called for a space where the creative minds of Alnowair could flourish, providing a relaxed and refreshing environment suitable for various settings that promote communication between staff and clients while serving all necessary office functions.

The location presented significant challenges as it was situated in a basement with minimal daylight. Additionally, the existing services, including HVAC, were insufficient and required a comprehensive review. The design solution was a large, open-plan space segmented by modern mashrabiyah glass dividers, creating smaller, dedicated areas. These spaces were designed to be versatile, encouraging staff mobility throughout the day based on different activities.

Alnowair approved the design in 2016, and construction commenced in August of the same year. The project reached completion and was handed over in August 2017, providing Alnowair with a dynamic and functional workspace that fosters creativity and collaboration.
